"The first responsibility of any president is to protect the American people."

This statement is found here second paragraph down, on the White House website - Homeland Security page.

Wrong. The first repsonsibility of any president is not to protect the American people. The first responsibility of any president is stated quite clearly in the oath of office any president takes before he assumes the office of the president:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.

The president's first responsibility is to "execute the office of the President of the United States and to the best of his ability "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

It is the Constitution that protects the American people, not the president. The Constitution, in fact, protects the American people from the president of the United States. That is the purpose of the Constitution. The Constitution is a contract between the people of the United States and its government, including the president.

This recently sworn in president, Barry Soetoro, before he even took office, has already shown to the American people what he thinks of the Constitution. He thinks it doesn't apply to him. He has refused - repeatedly - to provide a simple document, his birth certificate, to prove to the American people that he is eligible to hold the office of president of the United States.

Until he shows his proof of being a natural born citizen, like the Constitution requires, the American people have the right, have the duty, to assume he is not qualified, that he is not eligible.

Looks to this American that we have more to fear from our own president, and his Jewish handlers, than we do from those foreign terrorists he believes it is his "first responsibility" to protect us from.
