Punish American Motorists With More Taxes?

WASHINGTON –

"Motorists are driving less and buying less gasoline, which means fuel taxes aren't raising enough money to keep pace with the cost of road, bridge and transit programs.

A roughly 50 percent increase in gasoline and diesel fuel taxes is being urged by the National Commission on Surface Transportation Infrastructure Financing until the government devises another way for motorists to pay for using public roads."

American motorists do the right thing - stop driving as much, because of high gas prices, and start buying hybrid "green cars" that use less energy and now they are going to be taxed more? A good deed truly does not go unpunished.

But, but, but but but what about that $4 billion of American tax dollars given to the criminals in Israel every year? Why no mention of that? Why isn't that 4 billion being used to make up for the "growing revenue shortfall" that "funds highway repairs and construction?" Nope, never take away from Israel, just give, give give, like that $1 trillion American taxpayers gave to the Jewish bankers on Wall Street and then were not told who got what.

Or, what about the losing war Americans were lied into in Iraq and for those genocidal maniacs in Israel who are now murdering Palestinians in Gaza? How many countless billions were wasted and are still being wasted and will be wasted in the losing war effort? Why not stop that atrocious war and use that money in the United States doing something worthwhile?

Or how about pulling home American military personnel stationed on over 700 military bases in over 120 countries around the world? How many billions would that save? And what about that $600 million plus plus plus American "embassy" in Baghdad?

My God, when are the American people gonna wake up and get their collective heads out of their collective behinds?
