I Thessalonians 5:20, 21

Do not despise expounding of scripture, but scrutinize all things. Hold fast that which is right.

Yahshua is Yahweh Come in the Flesh

There are those who don't accept the fact that Yahshua is Yahweh come in the flesh. They don't understand that Yahweh was married to Israel, but, due to her unfaithfulness, divorced her. Jeremiah 3:8 And, in order to marry her again, had to die.

Because of His own law, He had to die so that He could remarry her. "Israel, once divorced by Old Testament law, could not be remarried to Yahweh, except by one provision, and that being that either Israel or Yahweh must die. That was the entire purpose of the crucifixion, for upon Yahshua dying, the way was clear for Him (Yahweh in the flesh as Yahshua) to once again marry Israel as he had done before. "  Deuteronomy 24:4: "Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is an abomination before Yahweh."

See Clifton Emahiser's What Scripture Teaches About the Unclean.

It was Yahweh who married Israel, not Yashua. It is Yahshua that will marry the bride - Israel.

If Yahshua is not Yahweh come in the flesh, then the Son is to marry His Father's wife. This would be a violation of Yahweh's own Law, as found in Luke 16:18: "Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marries another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery."

Further, it is universalists who insist that the "Bride of Christ" includes "everyone who believes in Jesus," that is, "Gentiles" or anyone of any race. If this were true, then Yahshua would be a race mixer, and race mixing is  condemned throughout Scripture, including the New Testament. Race mixing is referred to as "fornication."  Jude 7, 11, Galatians 5:19, Ephesians 5:3, 1 Thess. 4:3 and others.

Yahshua is Yahweh. Yahshua is to marry His kinsmen, whom He clearly stated He, as the Kinsman Redeemer, came to redeem and take them back as His wife.

It is those whose "knowledge" of Scripture is a mile wide and an inch deep who insist that Yahshua is not Yahweh of the Old Testament.

".. he that has seen me has seen the Father." "I and the Father are One."

Scripture clearly states that Yahshua is "God with us."

Mat 1:23      23Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

John8: 58Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Which is clearly a reference to Exodus 3:6,13,14:

6Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.

13And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?

14And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

Notice also here that Yahweh does not say He is the God of any other people except, "the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob." No where in Scripture does Yahweh claim to be the God of any other people.

There is no epistle to the Chinese, the Mexicans, the Koreans, or the Amerindians. There are epistles to the Corinthians, the Galatians, the Romans, all the "twelve tribes which are scattered abroad."

The bible was written by Israelites, for Israelites, about Israelites and to Israelites, and no other peoples.
